The Start of Something New

As an introvert I usually spend most of my time in my room on the internet, simply because I feel more comfortable online or by myself then with people. The problem with my being an introvert is my need and want to travel. Saving up for my big trip to Athens in a few summers, I wanted to interact with more people and visit new places before I leave the country. Even though I am only a teen and still three years away from driving I want to meet as many new people and develop better people skills. My father is a people person and thrives off meeting new people why I am crippled with social anxiety. For the time being (until I can drive) my dad will be taking me to new and exciting places for both me and him. My father, as a geography and history teacher, also enjoys the historical and geographical aspects of our new explorations. Starting closer to home in some of the natural wonders we have in Oklahoma I'll begin writing about these beautiful landmarks to build up my skills.

Already I have a list a mile long of places within driving distance that are absolutely gorgeous. On this list is Cahokia in Collinsville, Illinois, as well as the Spiro mounds a little closer to home. In addition to these I also want to hike some of the mountains here in Oklahoma and would also enjoy Pikes Peak, Colorado. My church youth group also has many trips planned such as a cave exploring adventure in October and a mission trip to Kentucky this summer. Among these trips are also international trips I'm hoping to save for such as Athens, Greece or Berlin, Germany. These trips while not unrealistic will take some planning and saving up for.

As a teen who is still young and wanting to explore the world while I have the chance, to help me gain new experiences. maybe even meet new friends with amazing stories to tell. Telling my thoughts to you strangers and possible friends is new for me. I want to have something to tell you guys that would interest you. If anyone who stumbles upon this post would leave a comment leaving a suggestion for my next adventure I will try to get to as many of them as I can. I also ask that if any of you have ways for me to earn money, keeping in mind that I'm not yet old enough to have an actual job, I would appreciate them greatly.

xoxo had
